Crank Brothers' Mallet 1 pedals sport the company's super easy to enter/exit 4-sided cages with wide polycarbonate platforms for great support and stability, and tough chromoly axles for durability. All this adds up to pedals that are ideal for downhill riding and free riding. The open design quickly sheds mud for reliability in sloppy conditions and the traction pins grip like champs when you're riding clipped out between corners.
